THE BIGGEST INTERIOR TRENDS FOR AUTUMN

It is the start of a new season and a whole lot of new interior trends are therefore set to liven up our living spaces. As a retailer of luxury home accessories, iWoodesign likes to keep a close eye on what the key trends are and this year they are a whole lot of fun! From exotic jungle prints to South American influences,
here is what our homes are set to be featuring over the next few months:
Jungle Theme
This is a hot trend for this year, with lots of bold colours, vibrant patterns and a variety of textured materials. Botanicals, such as ferns, will continue to be a strong part of this look, but they will move away from the more organic and natural vibe, towards a use of more psychedelic colours and clashing palettes for a statement effect. The jungle trend also pairs animal prints and exotic palm trees with decorative items made from rattan and bamboo.
Seventies Inspired Style
This trend in luxury home decor is quirky, it’s theatrical and it is all about maximalism. Think modern American glamour with velvet chairs, gold accessories and big clusters of ostrich feathers placed in a gold vase. Some sequined cushions wouldn't go amiss too!
Folk Lore
You will want to bring a warm, global vibe to your home this autumn with luxury home accessories that are all about bohemian colours and vibes. Similar to the jungle theme but with a more pared-back palette, look for things such as painted furniture, tribal prints and bold floral cushions. Add some greenery to your space as well to really capture the global vibe, succulents and cacti are top of the list at the moment.
Natural Kitchens

There is a huge movement at the moment for people to live harmoniously with their environments. So, understated palettes in the kitchen are becoming more andmore popular. Kitchen designers are taking inspiration from muted colours that can be found in nature, and natural materials. iWoodesign have recently
introduced Luxury Kitchen Sets featuring trays, bins and tissue boxes made from exclusive woods that would be perfect for this trend.
Let’s Go To Rio
The Olympics this summer has had an impact on interiors as well as the sporting world, with Brazilian themes looming large. Vibrant greens, oranges and purples speak of the exotic flora and fauna of the jungle, especially when mixed with wood and bamboo accessories. Perfect for bringing a touch of Rio to your outdoor space.
