THE TOP HOME TRENDS FOR 2023
Pinterest recently released their 'Pinterest 100 for 2023' trend report, which identifies the top emerging trends on this social media platform. We are a big fan of Pinterest, as are many other luxury homeware designers, as it really offers us a good insight into what items people are loving, and gives us some great inspiration for future collections. So, here are the top trends that Pinterest are predicting will be hot for homes in the next year:

Navy Blue
That old saying 'blue is the new black' has never been more true than in 2017! This is great news for interiors, as blue is a much easier colour to work with than black, despite being just as intense and dramatic - and it also gives a mature and confident feeling. Traditionally, blue has connotations of loyalty, security and trust which is always a good feeling to have in a home, so why not place a statement blue sofa or chair in your lounge? To ease yourself in gently, you could always use navy as a colour for a statement wall or even a pair of curtains - always a good way to nod to a trend without over committing yourself.

Bedside Table Styling
Social media seems to be increasingly impacting on our lives, with the current trend for bedside table styling on the rise. Does your bedside table look Instagram-worthy? In a similar way to bookshelves, the trend is now for bedside tables that contain elements that differ in height and texture for more visual interest. Think about placing items such as a wooden jewellery box, a bedside pamper tray, a mini vase of flowers and a book (of course) in a stylish way - but don't over-style it, though - in this case, less is definitely more!
Wooden Tiles
Pinterest believes that 2023 will see traditional ceramic tiles being threatened by a new competitor - the wooden tile. We have seen wooden tiles being used in high-end surface design for the hospitality industry for a few years now, as it makes a great textural contrast against copper or marble clad bars - but it is now starting to creep into the residential sphere as well. Obviously, we love to work with wood as it is such a beautiful material, but on a practical note it is also incredibly sound-insulating and heat-insulating, making it perfect for home use. It is such a great way to turn your chimney breast or staircase into a focal feature.
Farmhouse Style

A more stylish take on shabby chic, this lived in rural look seems to be taking the world by storm. Think pale wood, antique furniture, tranquil pale tones, and limed finishes - what’s not to love? It has a timeless cosy appeal which works whether you live in the depths of the country or the urban wilderness! Start to make your home more welcoming by adding some traditional rugs, chunky wool throws and neutral décor, or really go all out with pale wood furniture and linen upholstery.
